Hello Facebookers, Twitterers, and Readers of My Blogs:
As noted, you’re all getting the same updates, at least for now. Maybe I’ll rotate them thru the week as I go.
Oct 31 – final countdown. At 12:01 am on Nov 1 (remember, we don’t officially change clocks until 2am) I will begin writing. I plan to go until 2:00 am, just because I can. Then bed and back to writing in the a.m. I’m excited about this… and I’ll let you know how it all goes tomorrow.

Just trying to get in a few coherent thoughts before NaNoWriMo starts up. I probably won't be blogging much, although I've now committed to posting some updates on my progress on all my blogs and FB and Twitter. Chances are they'll be identical updates, but people will have to check to see.
I'd love to know if anyone on this site has done or is doing NaNoWriMo. If you did, how did it work out for you? I've heard some amazing stories. I've heard that some of the novels written have… Continue

you stand apart,
at a distance,
to draw my weapon,
to use my heart!
An island, built
of your own design,
- a world away
from this world of mine -
you guard your trust
in a thorny shrine.
Your heart a fortress
few dare to scale,
manys the heart
on it's rocks impaled!
Yet still I come,
naive, enthused, while
you prepare for battle!!
But still, I cannot… Continue

amidst the hustle and bustle
of daily life
and the million things
that need my attention -
"Right Now!" -
a thought of you
like a warm ray
And I smile.
something funny -
or sweet -
that you said, or
the tilt of your head,
pushes the noise
of the moment
into the distance.
And I smile.
And for a… Continue

The title of today's post is taken from my current email signature. It's followed by this badge and url:
Many of you probably already know about the animal called NaNoWriMo.
For those who do not, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. Each year writers sign up to spend the month of November trying to write a 50,000 word novel. It is no… Continue

I whispered your name to my Angels
and asked, that they keep you in their care
because I truly cherish you,
for you are a treasure, rare.
I knew they'd guard you gently
and wrap you in their wings.
And as you walk through your world,
that they'd keep you safe for me.
When nights are dark and cold
and you feel all alone,
I asked that they guide you to my heart
and light your way back home.
And "Until then", I asked… Continue

Did you ever think why the company media representatives and the brand equity managers keep staking and lay emphasis about the essentiality of owning a professional logo design to march on? Is the build up of hype about having custom design logo warranted?
It sounds pretty much explainable, doesn’t it? A logo of a company is the character of the organization which marks its unique identity. There are many competitors of your business around you very near but what really signifies you… Continue

The second show was a much greater success. I guess we needed Saturday's set for practice. We played well and everyone seemed to enjoy the show. We had a smaller response, but there were a lot fewer people there. It was Sunday and there's football all day. I imagine that kept a lot of folks home.
We ate more crap food and drank free beer. Chris, a guy from one of the other bands and a guy somehow involved in the show, welcomed us to his supply of Yingling and we happily accepted. We… Continue

It's over 90 degrees and I'm on my second shirt. I changed because I managed to sweat right through the first one and I have hardly done a thing. Despite the heat and the fact that my legs, from ankle to knee, are dusted with Florida dirt, I'm enjoying myself. I have two Bud Lime's in me and I'm hanging out with the coolest guys on Earth. I'm at the West Coast Bike Rally in Sarasota, FL. In about 20 minutes we're supposed to perform on a makeshift stage that is set-up on the back of a flat,… Continue

I'm sitting beside the left-handed Lithuanian while he ignores his hot girlfriend and talks on his cell phone about the "punk-ass" who "tried his shit." He arrived a few minutes ago and disrupted my calm. She's clearly annoyed as well. Upon arriving he offered her no greeting of any kind; no hug; no kiss; not even a nod. He's too deep in the urban-American Gangsta character he's playing, likely gleaned from watching too much MTV back home. It's his own uninspired caricature of the typical… Continue

I ran across this free ebook yesterday on social networking and was very impressed by what I learned. The sections on Facebook and Twitter were by far the best.
