Musings from my Journal

I didn’t realize, or, more accurately, I realized but was powerless to do anything to free myself of the suffocating, choking , bone crushing weight of depression. It feels like a large stone sitting on my chest.

Try as I might, no contortions or desperate manipulations of my psyche ever

removes the burden for long. It is terrible waste, and the energy I expend trying to rid myself of the toxic effects is sickening.
