Essay Help That Made Me a Composition Master!

It was Friday 17th April, 2009! Previous night I went out with my cousins and friends for some fun and didn’t really remember when I slept being drunk. I just switched on my lap in panic and started googling for ultimate essay help as if I was hoping for an angel to drop a… Continue

When is a Book Not a Book? A Question for Agents, Editors, Publishers… and anyone else who wants to register an opinion

A writer sits down and writes a book. Then the writer shops the manuscript around to agents, picks up an agent who markets the manuscript, and in the best of all possible worlds, sells it to a publisher for a reasonable sum of money. The writer is now an acknowledged professional earning her keep and working on her next book.

J-school enrollment up/journalism jobs down. Why?

while journalism jobs are in the tank.

By 2016, "Expect trade publications, freelance work and digital media to supply the bulk of the jobs."

A freelance writer not being paid?

It's a rare day when a freelance writer is stiffed for work done (he said with a bit of the dripping sarcasm). It might help freelance writers to know that Sunoasis.com has been stiffed more than once by advertisers.

This is a story of one freelance writer not being paid. Is that becoming more and more prevalent, as the story hints at?

Internships and other blog posts from Sunoasis.com

I see more and more companies turning to internships rather than full-time jobs. I would check any such opportunity carefully and make sure that the internship is directly related to your career pursuits and that you'll do something very useful during your time as an intern.

Are internships the way to go in this job climate?…

IF YOU LAUGH

If you laugh,

the black darkness,

will change into twinkling stars,

if you laugh,

this autumn,

will change,

into fragrant spring,

this fierce storm,

will change into cool breeze,

if you laugh,

all disappoints

will change into,

new hopes and

POEMS BY DR. RAM SHARMA, MEERUT, INDIA

WORDS

Word breaks silence,

touches the hearts,

joins the minds,

fights the persons,

words are very powerful,

words are the real treasures,

of human beings

MEANING

You can`t know the meaning of hunger

till you haven`t remained hungry,

you can`t feel the pain,

of stomach and closing eyes,

you can`t understand,

the staggering legs,

without power

you can`t understand this meaning,

remaining in air… Continue

DR. RAM SHARMA`S VERSES

WAR AND PEACE
Thinking about the war,first,
Think white coloured birds in the sky,
Look at the silent blue sky,
Touch the green flowerful trees,
Thinking about the war,
Look towards the clouds,
Feel the fragrance of flowers,
Feel the humanity within yourself,
Think about love,
Think about peace

Portrayal of Dalits in Arundhati Roy`s ` THE GOD OF SMALL THINGS`

In Arundhati Roy Roy's novel, The God of small Things, the laws of India's caste system are broken by the characters of Ammu and Velutha, an Untouchable or Paravan. Saturday, Downtown Chicago

I tried to add this yesterday, but fumble-fingered the post and it went in to the intarweb somewhere. So here goes "take two"...

Anyhow, it was a beautiful early Spring day...sunny but COLD. We went to renew our membership in the Art… Continue
