News that former Prince George’s State’s Attorney, Glenn F. Ivey, plans to announce a run for the U. S. Congress is music to the ears. Ivey was not only a popular public servant for his two terms as Prince George’s County State’s Attorney, but he was an effective leader who positively impacted the community and inspired those, like myself, who worked for him during his tenure as the county’s top prosecutor.
