On My Wedding Eve.



Sunset washing the horizon in the color tones of fall

The fiery ball drops silently and without a splash into the sea

A green blue never ending ripple scape, quickly turning black

In the twilights gentle drop.

I gaze longingly across your depth your oily impenetrableness

Towards a ship that never leaves that will never take me home.

The living tomb that brought me here.

Not sure what I want to do here yet.

I may post some stories or poems.

I spend too much time on blogit and not enough time on my creative writing as it is so we shall see.

And why did I post a picture of myself with a snake?

I love almost all creatures great and small. This was a wild snake that I caught for a cuddle and rerelease. When I left Australia I had to leave behind a very special snake. I found her a wonderful home but the good goodbye really hurt.

Thanks for the welcome Dave. I am interested in short story writing, and poetry. I prefer writing for children or historical work.
