Dr. M.F. Patel (b. 1974) achieved Bachelor Degree in English from Shri. & Smt. P.K. Kotawala Arts College, Patan in 1994 and Master Degree from Department of English, North Gujarat University, Patan in 1996. Now as a Principal, he is teaching language at UG level in Smt. C.C. Mahila Arts & Sheth C.N. Commerce College, Visnagar, Gujarat. Formerly he was teaching English language and literature as a Senior lecturer at UG level at Vijaynagar Arts College, Vijaynagar, Gujarat. He had also served as a NCC Officer with the rank of Lieutenant. He obtained his Ph.D. Degree from the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan on 7th August, 2007. He has presented papers in State Level Seminars & National Level Seminars and International Seminar & Internationao Conference. He has also participated in various seminars and workshops as well as in an International Symposium. He has contributed the article entitled as Indian Feminine Sensibility in Current Indian English Women Poets in Spark International Online E-Journal in Bi-annual Maiden Issue in Feb.-Aug., 2009. Now he is also working on a Minor Research Project entitled Critical Study of the Novels of Anita Desai, accorded by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. His area of special interest is Indian Writing in English. He has to his credit the following books:
1. An Exposure of Feminine Psyche in Some Novels of Anita Desai. (Authored)
2. English Language Teaching (Methods, Tools & Techniques). (Co-authored)
3. Indian Writings in English (Volume: I & II) Edited
4. Recritiquing Women’s Writing in English (Volume: I & II) Edited
5. Recent Explorations in Indian English Writing. Edited.
6. New Ruminations in Indian English Literature (Volume: I, II & III) Edited
I have also newly edited four more books:
