Musings from my Journal

I didn’t realize, or, more accurately, I realized but was powerless to do anything to free myself of the suffocating, choking , bone crushing weight of depression. It feels like a large stone sitting on my chest. Try as I might, no contortions or desperate manipulations of my psyche everremoves the burden for long. Finally giving it a go

I wanted to be a writer almost from my first memory. I was one of those intellectually precocious but socially inept nerdy kids, reading novels from the time I was 7 or 8. I came from an abusive household, and when I opened a book I could escape into it. To me it was a natural extension of this to be able to create an alternate reality of my own by writing stories and novels.
