Ha ha it's fine, I always misspell words accedentally. Yeah, I would love to read some of your work, if you'll read mine. I'm quite young, so I haven't got a steady job in the writing field yet--really I don't have a job, period, but I'm still in ...

Also I need your confirmation that you will not steal any of my work. Just in case, I mean, none of it is really that good but just in case I see something that others don't, I will need your promise, pleeaaasseee? ha ha. Ok thanks

Ok I will definitely do that. Although, I am a bit nervous to send it because I'v never actually had ANYONE read my work...EVER. For me, it's like building a house from my own design and then inviting a realtor in to critique my effort on the hous...

That is a BRILLIANT suggestion Judy!!! Thanks for the advice. One quote that I love is, " There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you," Which is exactly how I feel, and now you've given me an idea of how to get rid of that ag...

I have done a few pages but as one would think, most of the ideas are still just of list of events in my small, red notebook :). The idea of the story, though, is not totally complete, which is what I need help with. I have the beginning and parts...

One of the best things to do is to "begin at the end." Figure out what the conflict is and what the resolution will be and then "back engineer," from the ending to the beginning. A story or a character has to move through something. Identify what ...

Ok, I know you're are envisioning a little teenager imaging herself to be a great writer someday who's flamboyant and whimsical and can't maintain a solid state of mind...but It's nothing at all what you see. I love to write with all I have, since...

Once you've got the beginning, how do you move over that hump of figuring out what to do next. You see all these amazing scenes in your head that you have no idea how their going to tie into the story, and once you conjure up a way, you've phased ...

About Me:
Well, same as everyone, of course; I'm a writer. My name is Allison Penvellyn, and I love to create stories of romance, fantasy, adventure, mystery, suspense, and excitingness. "The greatest agony is bearing an untold story inside you..." words I utterly live by, which is why I have chosen to not live in an agonizing state throughout the course of my life. I am currently working on a story that I feel is going to be THE Story. I can't tell you the details, not that I do not want to, for I would very much wish to share the plot with another than myself; but at the moment, I regrettably am not ready. Not until anyone wishes to give advice out for it, only then will I begin divulgement. Well, I love to play the guitar, I love music of all kinds, I play the flute also, One of my great passions is art and I LOVE to draw; but, however, my greatest passion above passions is writing, and my hand will keep moving until it can move no more. Add, me, write me, or just pass on by.

Hi Alison,
It sounds like you've already got a lot of plot ideas! My suggestion (if you haven't already tried this; I'm only just starting to really write myself) would be to just start imagining your character in different situations and writing about what you think she would do, how you think she would re/act. I have found this to be a good way of discovering what a character's motivations are, when I couldn't articulate them before. Does that help? Hope so. Good luck!
