I love having that freedom to express myself and the power that writing brings to me. I love blogging--I finally found an outlet that allows me to breathe! Those voices in my head stir around for awhile and then boom...out they go! Pure joy.

Like Rachel Thompson I love using my writing as an outlet for those noisy people in my head who sometimes rattle around until I give them voice.

I love that I can use words to take my readers to the center of the Detroit riots, describing not only the sights and smells of protest in 1968, but the agony of a people living on the fringe of society. Likewise, I can take my reader to an outdoor market in Spain, and make them feel the warm air tossle their hair as the scents of the marketplace drift lazily on the balmy breezes.

I have recently published my first book, a non fiction travel adventure about my overland trip camping in a Land Rover with a "new friend". Russian documents....Mongolian dust is a great read written for women about this 21,000 kilometre journey from Australia to Switzerland via Siberia,Mongolia....... I LOVE writing!!!!
