Latest Story

I've been writing a few stories the last few years. This one is not quite made yet but far enough along to publish. It's a story about the future and probably the first such story I've written since college when I wrote about a future where computers would be on desktops and people would live through screens, pushing buttons and the creative types would be swept away and put on asteroids to keep them out of the way.

I should write a story about a guy who goes back in time to 1971 and who invests in computers.

Tell me what the Wall is, I'd like to see it.

Even though this story line is well-used, there is always a way to put a fresh spin on things. I can see some possibilities in your idea. I do editing and proofreading, and have also done some fiction writing, though I've never bothered to publish. I'm looking into taking the time to self-publish, now that this is gaining in popularity. Bearing in mind all sorts of copyright issues, if you would like some help in fine-tuning your script, I would be glad to offer my services. I'm a card-carrying member of the online copywrite sites, so you needn't worry about your story idea. I have ideas of my own. I'm just interested in helping you to write your book. Good writing is what gets you read, and good editing is a key part of that. If you want to ask any questions or get into the discussion further, email me at seabrownthree@btinternet.com.

Growing up poor in the small town of Vicksburg, Miss., Alexander Devereaux didn’t have much. But there was no lack of remarkable personalities, each of whom left an indelible imprint on his life. Gar Fish & Long Gravy collects the stories, insight, tragedies, and uproarious wit of an unforgettable cast of characters. Meet Granmama Lia’, whose hard-won wisdom on life, love—and mistresses—is dispensed to in her kitchen to her beloved grandson, sometimes over Johnny Walker Black. There’s Ms. Peaches, who raises chickens in her ramshackle hut yet might be one of the richest people in town. Big Daddy is an imposing hulk, but his massive frame hides a vulnerable past and humiliating secret. Ms. Annie Laurie is a fabulously wealthy white woman who never had children of her own. But her love rains down on young Alexander. And that’s just for starters.

Based on real-life experiences, Gar Fish & Long Gravy is about the mistakes we make, the loves we share, and the stories we tell each other that make us who we are. And it is the touching story of a boy who ultimately breaks free of the poverty and abuse of his extended family, yet never forgets the important lessons he learned along the way. As Grandmama said, “If sense were common, everybody would have it.”

I am stuck with where to go in this farce short story where by an odd set of events, the devil becomes a mans guardian angel and must get him turned around before the mans heart attack 2 weeks henceforth. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Also need a catchy title!  BradyGOD%27S%20DILEMMA%20PDF.pdf
