I think those new groups would be great. You should definately get on that :) Another place to look for writing jobs would be fantastic. Also maybe you could create a chatroom on here so writers can talk in real time, getting access to instant ideas and advice from other writers.

I am thinking of adding at least two new groups. One of those is called, "Finding jobs," since this is a network about enhancing the ability to find jobs. The other would be called, "Q and A" since Sunoasis has had a QandA for years and has answered hundreds and hundreds of questions.

So, if anyone has any opinion about that let me know.

Well, as far as the "bloated David" that was a picture sent to me by a writer friend who got it from some person he knows in South Africa. Its title is, "American David." Maybe this is the impression others have of Americans, I don't know. If it bothers people I can change it.

David - With you behind it I'm sure this will be a success. And "The Selfish Giant" video? Wow. I haven't seen or even thought of that since I was 6 or 7 years old. I used to see that when I'd go to CCD and seeing it this morning sent me back about 30 years. What a trip.

The Network has to have some patience. Things aren't going to happen overnight. A network like this has many dimensions of possibilities outside of being a conduit for employers, agents and so on. Writers are the most resourceful of people and the network depends on their vitality and intelligence. I would hope that when a person logs into the Sunoasis Writers Network they find something useful or add something of value. A network is a process!
