Print journalism is NOT dead!

What may be gone is the daily or weekly newspaper as a product to be "bought" at your local news stand - however, "free" weekly publications are thriving - especially in The Five Towns of Long Island, NY.  My "Legendary Column" appearing each week in The South Shore Standard is ample evidence of the huge readership print journalistists can still garner in a highly-literate community, where I reach tens of thousands of readers each week.

I also reach an even wider audience on The South Standard website:  www.standardli.com and as a "blogger" of my own "Legendary Blog" on Patch.com for The Five Towns, which can be accessed at http://fivetowns.patch.com/blog_posts/the-legendary-danny-odoul-pre...

Good luck to all my fellow print jounalists!

Sincerely,

The Legendary Danny O'Doul
