I recently wrote a story that I've semi turned into a screen play as far as knowing the story, dialogue, set. However it is not in a screenplay form yet. It is a solo play, approximately 40 min. - could be less. I'm considering another story that I will write as a book first I think, but it has great screenplay potential. Not ready to share it yet though, but I love the fact that there is a group talking about these things.

Hello - my name is Paul and I'm new to SunOasis and even newer to Fade In. I've been writing professionally for 32 years. Advertising, short stories, videos and such. I am hoping to be able to get some advice here. I have invested quite a bit of time and effort in an animation project. I have paid animators, had a few characters created, written dialogue, a few scenes, etc. The concept is for an animated series revolving around politics. Donkey and elephant characters are politicians and sheep are... well you know who they represent. There's a family of sheep the story centers around (The Shepards). Anyway, like I say, I have the characters, some animation, dialogue, example scenes and now - I am looking for some guidance on where I might go from here? Thanks for listening - nice to be on board.

Okay group... Let's talk a little bit about the revision process. How easy is it for you to revise? Do you find the process difficult? Do you have a hard time cutting loose of scenes that do not push the plot forward? Talk to me!! :)
