Animal Crackers: Fantasy/Sci Fi Writer's Group

This is a place for writers to share their work with fellow writers. Though I focus on cheesy vampire romance with a splash of fantasy for background, I don't see why we can't make this a generic fantasy/science fiction arena.

Is this group still Active? I'm really unsure how this whole Sunoasis thing works.

Hiya! I just joined this group and have a question....what are the "gifts" that are figured on the site? What is their purpose and how are they used?
I don't have a photo of myself...camera shy. So I sat down and whipped out this little drawing of the family to compensate until I finally break down and buy a camera. I may even venture to purchase a cell phone. ....nah, that's too much. This thunderous spate of consumerism, however, will have to wait until after the holidays. Then I can boot the moths out of my wallet and replace them with actual money! But of course, my offspring do have this disturbing habit of mentioning "College." Sigh. The moths may be a permanent feature in my pocketbook. (They'll need to sign a rental agreement).

I look forward to an active Critique/Write association with you and hope to hear from you soon.

The Legendary Danny O'Doul Comment by The Legendary Danny O'Doul on November 18, 2009 at 1:27pm
I am The Legendary Danny O'Doul who is scheduled to build a MUFON observatory in the turret of "Audubon, Estate," my Wemphis NY small Italianate villa, which is located in prime celestial proximity to the skies adjacent and above the Kennedy Airport interchange on the South Shore of Long Island. I am also a writer of fiction, including science fiction tales of the Planet Lekvar-9, in the Mondillian Galaxy. They usually involve extra terrestrial space beings, as well as Jewish people from the area known as The Five Towns of Long Island.

I sent you an invitation to friend me in case you want to send me some stuff privately to my inbox.

Time is really on your side. I would love to read some of your stuff, and don't worry about being young. I got my first rejection letter, and there have been many over the years, when I was twelve.

Ha ha it's fine, I always misspell words accedentally. Yeah, I would love to read some of your work, if you'll read mine. I'm quite young, so I haven't got a steady job in the writing field yet--really I don't have a job, period, but I'm still in high school so I believe that time is on my side. yes, but I would like to read some of your poetry or fiction, whichever you want to give out. I'd like some opinions on my work as well, since I'm kind of stuck anyways :).

Well, that's non-fiction. It's 1 a.m., so my typing is a little off.

Hi, Allison. I write fiction, mostly Sci-fi, but some poetry and children's fantasy. I also do none fiction for hire, that's where I make my money. But, I do want to get feedback on some of my fiction because I would like to get away from the technical work.

Well I'd love to help you also in any way I can. What do you write?
